Solid choice — does most things very well
Hits a sweet spot for me. Refined on the motorway, economical for commuting, practical for family. Only gripe is infotainment slow to connect to phone on startup. Build quality noticeably better than my previous car.

Good but expected more
Competent, reliable, comfortable. But 'competent' isn't what you want spending this much. Hard plastic panels in places, engine note unpleasant. Test-drive the competition before committing.

Three years in — still no complaints
45,000 miles, zero mechanical issues. Tyres wearing evenly, everything works as day one. Resale value holding up brilliantly. The definition of a reliable long-term proposition.

At this price point the 2023 Hyundai Tucson is difficult to beat on pure value. Generous standard equipment, solid reliability record, and depreciation that won't sting too badly.

Best car I've ever owned
I've owned many cars and the 2023 Hyundai Tucson is comfortably the best. Interior feels genuinely premium, ride is smooth, infotainment actually works. My only gripe is wind noise at motorway speeds — minor on an otherwise outstanding vehicle.

Quality control issues from day one
Factory fit-and-finish issues: door seal whistles at speed, dashboard rattle took three dealer visits to fix, paint imperfection on boot lid. Disappointing for this price. Car should have been right first time.

Disappointed — expected better reliability
Bought on strong reviews and brand reputation. Ongoing electronic issues: infotainment crashed twice, emergency braking triggered unexpectedly three times. Dealer slow to acknowledge. Driving experience fine but reliability has soured everything.

Eight months in — fuel efficiency, comfort, and city traffic handling are all impressive. Gripes: rear legroom slightly tight for tall adults, auto transmission occasionally hesitates. Minor. Overall package excellent.

My favourite commuter ever
40 miles each way. The 2023 Hyundai Tucson makes the commute genuinely enjoyable. Seats stay comfortable, adaptive cruise works brilliantly, fuel costs reasonable. After 25,000 miles nothing has gone wrong.
