Research adult size BEFORE buying a hatchling

Sulcata hatchlings are adorable 5cm tortoises that cost very little and seem manageable. They are not. In ten years mine went from fitting in my palm to weighing 30kg and demolishing my fence. Please research adult sulcata size before buying a hatchling. The number of surrendered sulcatas in rescues is heartbreaking. That said, with the right space and resources, they are extraordinary animals.
