Great with kids, needs supervision

We got a Holland Lop for our children (ages 7 and 10) and it's been a wonderful experience. The breed is calm enough for kids to handle with guidance, though we always supervise. Our lop loves the kids running around — he binkies and zooms alongside them. Teaching the children to respect the rabbit's space has been a great lesson too. Just note they live 8–12 years, so it's a long commitment.
