Gentle giant is exactly right

My Flemish Giant is the most patient, placid animal I've ever encountered. She weighs 9 kg and could easily injure me if she panicked, but she never does. She's calm in new environments, tolerant of being picked up (with proper support), and loves lounging beside me for hours. Her size does mean a substantial enclosure and a significant food bill, but the companionship is unmatched.
