Great first rabbit for beginners

As a first-time rabbit owner I did a lot of research before choosing a Dutch. They're widely recommended for beginners and the reputation is well-deserved. My rabbit was easy to litter train and hasn't had any health issues in two years. She's spirited and active — she needs good free-roam time — but she's never aggressive and loves head scratches. A great introduction to rabbit keeping.
