Speed is just the beginning

What surprises people about Thoroughbreds is how much more there is beyond speed. My gelding has the most refined, expressive movement of any horse I've owned. In the arena he floats. On trails he's sensible and curious. He's taught me to feel subtleties in movement I never noticed before. People who dismiss the breed as "hot and difficult" are missing one of the most remarkable horses in the world.
