The most electric horse I've ever ridden

My off-the-track Thoroughbred Quicksilver took two years to fully transition from racing to a relaxed amateur competition horse. The patience was worth every moment. He is the most responsive, electric horse I've ever ridden — a feather-touch cue and he responds instantly. He placed second at his first dressage competition last month. OTTBs get a bad reputation for being difficult, but with the right approach they are extraordinary partners.
