Sensitive and intelligent — demands respect

The Thoroughbred is the most sensitive horse I've worked with and I mean that as a profound compliment. My gelding is finely tuned — he responds to breathing, weight, and the subtlest leg position. He also communicates clearly when uncomfortable, anxious, or in pain. Learning to listen to him has made me a genuinely better horsewoman. He's not a horse for everyone, but for the right rider he's a privilege to own.
