Requires ferret-proofing before free-roam

Silver mitt or any other ferret — free-roam time requires serious ferret-proofing. My silver mitt found a gap behind the kitchen cabinets in the first week. I've since blocked every gap under 3cm in the free-roam area and do a sweep before every session. Once the space is properly secured, watching him explore, dig, and dook his way around the room is pure joy. Just do the preparation first.
