Best small breed I have ever owned

Seven years with my Yorkie and she remains the most entertaining, engaging, and lovable small dog I've encountered. She adapts to whatever the day brings, always has something to say about it, and ends every evening curled up on my lap with a satisfied sigh. Everything I could want in a companion, in a very compact format.
