Huskies are highly intelligent but they use that intelligence to negotiate rather than comply. My boy understands every command — he just weighs up whether it's worth doing. Positive reinforcement works brilliantly with them; punishment-based training backfires completely. Once you understand this negotiation mindset, training becomes genuinely fun.
