The most dignified small dog

My Scottish Terrier carries himself with a dignity that is completely at odds with his size. He is eight inches tall and behaves as though the world was created for his convenience. He is devoted to me in a reserved, dignified way that is nothing like the exuberant love of a Labrador but is no less real. He is my quiet shadow, always near, always watching, always certain he knows best. A remarkable little character.
