Gentle with my vulnerable dog

I adopted an elderly, traumatised rescue dog last year and my Samoyed has been the most gentle, patient companion to her. He reads her signals accurately, never pushes her comfort limits, and has clearly contributed to her confidence and relaxation. Watching him interact carefully with a fearful dog has been one of the most moving things I have witnessed. He is a remarkably empathetic animal.
