Athletic and loyal

My Ridgeback runs with me every morning and could easily go further than I do. His stamina is extraordinary. He is calm and dignified indoors, never destructive, and reserved with strangers in a measured, intelligent way. He is not a breed for inexperienced owners because his independence requires confident handling. With the right person he is an exceptional companion. He has been the best running partner imaginable.
