The herding instinct and the children

My Corgi is wonderful with my children but the herding instinct is real and we have had to train against heel nipping. He does it gently and playfully but it was concerning when my children were small. We worked with a trainer and it is much better now. If you have young children and a Corgi, address this behaviour early with professional guidance. Beyond that challenge he is a magnificent family dog.
