Most trainable small breed I have owned

I have had terriers before and the Miniature Schnauzer is by far the most responsive I have encountered. My girl picks up new commands quickly, retains them reliably, and performs them with enthusiasm. She completed advanced obedience training with excellent scores. She loves the engagement of training sessions and clearly finds them stimulating. An excellent little dog for someone who enjoys working with a responsive, intelligent companion.
