Perfect all-round companion

My Miniature Schnauzer is now eleven and I cannot imagine a better companion. He adapted to our flat perfectly when we downsized, he is low-shedding which suits my allergies, and he has been healthy and robust throughout his life. He learned a huge vocabulary of commands and toys by name. He is opinionated and tells me when he disagrees with something via a particular pointed stare. Brilliant, long-lived, and wonderful.
