Best family protector

We live rurally and my Mastiff has been the most reassuring presence our family could have. He patrols the property each evening, acknowledges familiar faces, and treats unknown visitors to a measured but unmistakable inspection. He has never been aggressive but no one who meets him has any doubt about what would happen if our family were threatened. With us he is completely soft and loving.
