Two hundred pounds of pure love

My Mastiff weighs two hundred and fifteen pounds and his only ambition is to sleep as close to me as physically possible. He somehow fits himself entirely onto the sofa and stares reproachfully when I suggest he move. He is gentle with my children, tolerant of the cat, and completely devoted to our family. The drool is legendary but so is his love. He is the most affectionate dog I have ever had the privilege of owning.
