Calm and compatible with other pets

My Mastiff lives with two cats and an elderly small dog and the coexistence is peaceful. He approaches the cats with slow, careful movements and they have gradually accepted him. He is gentle with the small dog and seems to understand the size difference. He has never showed predatory behaviour toward any of them. His calm temperament makes multi-pet living surprisingly workable with this giant breed.
