Playful and feisty

People think Maltese are delicate lap dogs. Mine is a feisty, playful, ridiculous little dog who runs rings around my larger dogs and bosses them comprehensively. She is fearless, confident, and knows exactly what she wants. She plays hard and then naps hard. She is affectionate on her terms and those terms are frequently. A wonderful little dog who refuses to behave in a stereotypically fragile manner.
