Gentle and noble

There is a dignity about Greyhounds that sets them apart. My girl carries herself with quiet grace and seems to observe the world with serene detachment. She is gentle with my elderly father and patient with children. She occasionally does a zoomie in the garden at breathtaking speed and then returns to the sofa as if nothing happened. She has enriched my life with very little demand in return. Truly a remarkable breed.
