Magnificent but needs a job

My Pyr settled significantly once we got goats for him to guard. Before the goats he was restless and vocal and I felt he was frustrated without purpose. Now he is calm, focused, and deeply fulfilled. If you are considering this breed without livestock I would suggest thinking carefully about what role he will play. Give him a flock or a purpose and he is magnificent. Without that he may struggle.
