Apollo of dogs deserves the title

My Great Dane turns heads everywhere we go. She is breathtaking to look at, tall and elegant with a fluid gait. She is sweet-natured and friendly with everyone. The practical challenges of her size are real. Every hotel needs confirmation she is welcome, vet visits are expensive, and she knocked a lamp off a table by turning around. But she is so magnificent and gentle that the inconveniences are easily forgiven.
