The perfect active family dog

My Springer has been with us for seven years and I genuinely cannot imagine our family without him. He runs with the children in the garden, comes on long hikes, and plays fetch until I give up before he does. Indoors he is calm and affectionate, curled up near whoever is in the room. He learned all his commands quickly and has never been aggressive. His tail seems to be in permanent motion. An absolute joy of a dog.
