Beautiful dog, significant grooming

My Cocker is stunning but maintaining his coat is a serious commitment. He needs brushing every day to prevent matting and professional grooming every six to eight weeks. His ears need cleaning twice a week. He has had two ear infections despite my diligence. The grooming costs and time are real considerations. That said, his personality is so wonderful that I cannot imagine being without him. Just budget the grooming costs before you commit.
