People assume Cavaliers are pure lap dogs. Mine gets good daily exercise — an hour's walk — and loves it. She swims, fetches, and explores with real enthusiasm. Then she comes home and is completely content on the sofa for the rest of the day. This balance of activity and calm is ideal for most family lifestyles.
