Great Bulldog experience — just go in with realistic expectations
My Bulldog Milo is 5 years old now and has been a wonderful companion. The breed lives up to its reputation: low energy indoors. I particularly love that loyal and affectionate.
My one knock is that breathing difficulties. I underestimated this when I first got she. Also, overheats easily is something you need to plan for. It's not a dealbreaker but requires commitment.
On the health front, brachycephalic issues. Budget for that and you'll be fine. Four solid stars — would recommend to the right owner who knows what they're getting into.
