Perfect city dog with minor caveats

My Boston is my ideal companion for urban life. She is small enough to take everywhere, sociable enough that she makes friends on every outing, and calm enough that she is welcome in coffee shops and friends' homes. The breathing issues in summer heat are real and we have to limit midday exercise from June through August. She pants heavily and overheats quickly. With climate management she is perfectly healthy and happy.
