Herding instinct is strong — manage it well

The herding instinct is real and can manifest with children, cyclists, or other pets if not managed early. My boy went through a phase of circling and nipping at my kids' heels. Solid training and clear boundaries sorted it completely. Now he channels that instinct into fetch and agility with no residual issues. Early training is essential.
