Gentle giant for our family

We have three children and our Bloodhound has been absolutely perfect with all of them. She lets the youngest drag her around by the ears without complaint. She moves slowly, sniffs constantly, and occasionally launches into a bay that rattles the windows, but she is so fundamentally gentle and loving that every inconvenience is forgiven. She has a loose-jowled, mournful expression that makes everyone she meets smile.
