The perfect lazy day companion

My Basset Hound Humphrey is the most laid-back dog I have ever met. He spends about twenty hours a day sleeping and the remaining four hours eating, sniffing the garden, and demanding belly rubs. He is endlessly patient with my kids, never snaps, and greets every visitor like they are the most important person in the world. He does bay loudly when the postman arrives but a treat stops him immediately. Truly a wonderful breed for a calmer household.
