Best dog I have ever had, full stop

I've owned German Shepherds, Labradors, and mixed breeds over 30 years. My Australian Shepherd is, by some margin, the most engaged, intelligent, and rewarding companion I've had. She's changed the way I think about dogs entirely. Every day with her is genuinely interesting and I feel lucky to have found the breed.
