Energetic but trainable

Australian Shepherds have enormous energy but unlike some high-drive breeds, they channel it cooperatively when trained well. Mine is enthusiastic about every command and genuinely wants to get things right. The energy is real — two hours minimum exercise daily — but the willingness to work makes living with that energy manageable and joyful.
