Think very carefully before getting a Sphynx — my honest experience

I'm writing this after 1 difficult years. I want to be clear: I don't blame the breed. The Sphynx has genuine wonderful qualities — loves people. But the challenges have been overwhelming for us.

skin care intensive has been relentless. needs weekly bathing was something we were told about but completely underestimated. It has affected our entire family's daily routine.

The health costs have been devastating. skin conditions. We did not have adequate pet insurance and the financial strain has been significant.

One star because I feel the breed community isn't honest enough about the true demands. Some people are absolutely perfect for Sphynxs. I was not one of them. Please research thoroughly.
