My Sokoke feels like a connection to something ancient and wild. She came from breeding lines that trace to feral cats in a Kenyan forest. She carries that history in her movement and her spirit. She is a genuine domestic cat but with a depth and authenticity that purpose-bred cats sometimes lack. She is one of the most fascinating animals I have ever had the honour of living with.
