Good with children

Our Siberian is patient and gentle with our children in the careful, thoughtful way of a large, self-possessed cat. He doesn't initiate play with them often but accepts their attention with grace and never reacts badly when handled. His size makes him feel substantial and safe to children who might be nervous around smaller, more reactive cats.
