Energy level was a challenge initially

My Serengeti was more active than I anticipated in his first year. He needed more stimulation than I was providing and became destructive when bored. We invested in cat trees, running wheels, and interactive sessions and he settled significantly. He is now wonderful but the energy management required real commitment. Be prepared for a very active cat.
