Beautiful breed, but I was not prepared for the reality of owning a Scottish Fold

I hate to write a negative review because I do love my Scottish Fold. gets along with everyone is genuinely wonderful. But I feel I owe future owners honesty about what this breed actually requires.

joint problems — and I mean seriously. I had no idea how much this would affect my life. limited mobility has been the biggest challenge. I've had to make major lifestyle changes.

The health costs have been significant. heart disease. We've spent thousands we didn't plan for. I wish breeders and breed guides were more upfront about this.

Two stars — not because the breed isn't wonderful, but because the mismatch between expectations and reality has been hard. Do thorough research before committing.
