Think very carefully before getting a Russian Blue — my honest experience

I'm writing this after 2 difficult years. I want to be clear: I don't blame the breed. The Russian Blue has genuine wonderful qualities — quiet and calm. But the challenges have been overwhelming for us.

can be anxious has been relentless. reserved nature was something we were told about but completely underestimated. It has affected our entire family's daily routine.

The health costs have been devastating. relatively healthy breed. We did not have adequate pet insurance and the financial strain has been significant.

One star because I feel the breed community isn't honest enough about the true demands. Some people are absolutely perfect for Russian Blues. I was not one of them. Please research thoroughly.
