Excellent with children, surprisingly gentle

I read these cats can be aloof and was ready to work for affection. What I got instead was a gentle giant who lets my toddler drag him around (gently!) without protest. He's not a pushover — he'll walk away when he's had enough — but his default is sweet and tolerant. Very healthy breed, robust constitution.
