The round build can lead to weight issues

Manx cats have a naturally compact, round build but this can tip into overweight if diet isn't carefully managed. Mine gained weight in middle age until we adjusted her portions. Regular weighing and portion control have kept her at a healthy weight for two years now. Not a difficult management issue, just one that requires attention.
