Grooming more complex than expected

The curly coat requires more careful grooming than I anticipated. Standard brushing can damage the curl pattern. I had to learn specific techniques for curly coats to maintain hers properly. Once I adjusted my approach she has been fine but it was a learning curve. The coat is beautiful but research curly-coat grooming before getting this breed.
