Deafness was a concern

My Khao Manee is deaf in one ear due to the white coat gene. We discovered this at her first vet visit. She manages perfectly well with the assistance of visual cues and vibrations but it is worth knowing that deafness is a genuine risk in this breed, particularly with blue or odd eyes. Always have a Khao Manee hearing-tested by a vet before confirming purchase.
