An alien creature, in the best possible way

I describe my Devon Rex to people as a bat-eared, oversized cricket with a purr. He looks completely improbable — huge ears, enormous eyes, tiny wavy coat — and acts accordingly. He does backflips off the sofa, steals food off plates with surgical precision, and then curls up under your chin radiating heat. Utterly unique breed.
