The most dog-like cat I have owned

My Cymric plays fetch without fail, comes when called, and greets me at the door every evening. He is quietly loyal in a way that feels more canine than feline. He follows me through the house with a rounded, stub-tailed dignity that is utterly charming. He is gentle with my children and patient with the dog. His flowing coat needs regular brushing but he is otherwise wonderfully easy to care for.
