Robust health and excellent longevity

Ours is eleven and still healthy and active. The Chartreux is known for robustness and our experience confirms it. One vet mentioned they tend toward longer lives and fewer genetic issues than many pedigree breeds when obtained from good breeding lines. We've invested in good food and regular checkups and she rewards us with continued excellent health.
