My shadow and my comfort

My Bombay has been my companion through a difficult couple of years. He is physically present whenever I need him, sleeps against me when I am unwell, and sits next to my chair when I am working. His warm, purring presence is genuinely comforting. He is not a cat you share space with. He is a cat who truly lives alongside you. I am profoundly grateful for him.
