Ideal for families with young children

I researched extensively before getting a cat for my children and the Birman kept coming up as a top choice. Three years in: that recommendation was absolutely correct. Our Birman is patient, tolerant, never reacts badly when the kids are too enthusiastic, and actively seeks out the children for play. Gentle and resilient in equal measure.
